Idk why but teenagers/highschoolers scare me, I keep thinking if I see them on the street that they'll make fun of me even if I have absolutely no reason to believe this

Most high-schoolers from my past experience are very pompous and can be jerks so I don't blame you for thinking this. But I'm also sure there are a lot of high schoolers on here who are dope af.

i don't have this struggle
and that is good or else i would become a terrible social worker as i want to work with high school kids the most

why so insecure though
and why only at them
why not adults

adults can be just as mean

i think it might be the remnants of when i was the most insecure and introverted during my early high school days
i am not as scared of adults and i don't know why bc i have had many more of those be mean to me
honestly, i think my brain is pretty irrational at times LOL
