Make some soup

one of my aunts is sending me some soups. The the good kind with potatoes an and spices andyou soak some rice in there and happiness. Not like i could taste anything but gross sickness.

yeah i put chilies in my tea.
I didn't think about the tea exception. Love my sick day tea with honey and ginger.

Im not a fan of chai tho or any tea with milk or any kind of creamer. so ill skip of those.

yeah thing is i call any and all forms of tea, with or without milk, chai. cause (in my experience ofc) us bengalis generally don't add milk to tea. so tea is tea aka cha in bengali, chai in hindi. though i personally love my tea both with and without milk (though we usually have it without cause neither my bengalli ass nor my parents' bengali asses can make tea with milk).

we don't make masala chai we're boring that way. though ofc i've had it and i love it

though us bongs complain about how non-bongs can't make tea, there's very little tea in the typical north indian chai, and more milk and sugar (and masala ofc). oh and whatever tea is there is boiled and boiled and boiled, and not infused as it should (according to the bong overlords) be and hence so much milk and sugar

for us it's usually plain tea and sugar as per one's preference
