And the choreo and performances so far are so slayful




It recently reached 5 million spotify streams on the same day the MV dropped! That's great and I hope it and the other songs continue to do well~

thats great, this really has to be the best part about 4th gen now.

I never understood why kpop companies followed some unwritten laws or made up beliefes, there can be only one M/V per comeback, even if another song on the album did way better.

Yes ofc, making a M/V is really expensive, so its not like this can be just made on a whim, but if you notice one of the songs has really great potential, by giving it a proper M/V you can amplify its success a lot and in the end proift a lot more!

I think a incredible example for this OMGs Dolphin which was a mega hit, but never got a proper M/V. Thats just crazy to me and just shows this stuck up mindset.

Sorry for ranting! The M/V is cool and I like the song!

I think not all companies have the budget to this but if you do have it, why not? A little effort and timing really goes a long way. I think XG's company is being strategic in (mostly) the right ways.

sometimes you'll see smaller companies go the extra mile (pixy comes to mind, they had an MV for Bewitched, a b-side and Let Me Know, the title I believe?). But even like very simple performance videos are a good thing. Do what you can with the resources you have first and foremost.

Stray Kids and Twice are both from JYP and both have a ton of music videos. Stray Kids also has a ton of music videos for their B-Sides. I’d even go so far as to say half of their music videos are for B-Sides and the other half are for title tracks.

sometimes you'll see smaller companies go the extra mile (pixy comes to mind, they had an MV for Bewitched, a b-side and Let Me Know, the title I believe?). But even like very simple performance videos are a good thing. Do what you can with the resources you have first and foremost.

yeah performance videos or some special videos like Twice had for queen of hearts are nice too, but the GP is very simplistic when it comes to those things (at least thats how I see it), if somehing is not adverstised as an offical M/V, a giant portion of people will never even bother to check it out

wish us MIDZY were a bit more spoiled. I remember Loco and Swipe and later Twenty had MV's from like more recent cbs, but I don't think we're really as spoiled as stays are generally... :/

I also remember Xdinary will get a variety of like performance clips for b-sides. That's good for them :> They are kind of... idk, I feel like since they are different they need good love and care as well, yk? don't want them left behind just bc they aren't a regular idol group bringing in the bank.

I really never realised other JYPs groups reguarly get M/Vs for their b-sides
