Well playing in a non Chinese context (when ur non chinese) would be different than for me, if I played with my Chinese peeps - the stakes(even if not gambling for money) are sooo much to do with not making mistakes/gifting other players/missing the winning play. I played with cousins during Chinese new year once n it was too many high stakes of not making mistakes.playing with beginners has it's own challenges too, nobody knows wat to do sometimes-which is fun if u play with others who just want to hv fun too. In Asia everybody plays for stakes so it's not easy to find players who play for fun. Hope u enjoy playing!
