a few days ago, I asked my dad if he got me the concert tickets I asked for. I was like "You did get the tickets, right?" and he gave me a weird look, and now I'm sus... not sure if it was just a tic when he was moving his mouth all weird (and he does have a tic problem - not Tourette's, though) or if he didn't get them after all. these are tickets to see 5 Seconds of Summer, anD IF HE DIDN'T GET ME THE FUCKING TICKETS, I WILL RIOT! (or maybe I'll just cry myself to sleep - ik violence is never the answer... but it won't be pretty)

My advice, though you may not like it, is to never be too expectant of what you will get as a gift.

If you have high expectations, it can lead to high disappointment. There could be countless reasons that he may not have been able to get you these specific tickets.
