Today I saw a very important and eye opening video. Of course it’s just another video on ‘ Kpop industry bad and idols need rest ‘ but the creator goes on to list ways we as Kpop fans can help. For a long time I’ve just thought, eh, what can I do besides being a good fan? However, influencing and speaking on how idols don’t need to be overworked can and will have slow but important progress. Posting on anything, even something as small as one Weverse comment saying ‘ I hope [INSERT IDOL] can rest! They need it. ‘ Can be one push in the right direction. I used to just accept the industry was bad by making spiteful comments or papers against it, but I’ve never actually tried influencing a company. I believe that as fans, we have the ability to tell companies we don’t need idols to come back every month or have numerous events every couple of weeks and that we should utilize this ability more.
