Who are Bursters?
Bursters is a 5 piece band that incorporates elements of rock and metal into their music. Originally called Burstered, they debuted in 2014. Unlike most groups, they're a group of friends that joined together to make a band, which is refreshing in the Korean music industry. For a band, they've been relatively successful, even touring in the UK. They competed on Superstar K, finishing in the top 6 and being the first hardcore rock band to achieve this.

Music
While their songs tend to include screaming, they have a more chill song about how we're all equal and all human, as well as some other more chill songs.

Now as a fan of screaming in songs, I have a lot of songs by them that I absolutely adore, including b-sides and title tracks. I'll post some of my favorites below.

And as far as albums go, I would recommend their latest album, Once and For All. The title track, Smell The Rot, was one of my favs that I posted above, but the b-sides are solid as well. Here I Am and Eternal are probably my favorite b-sides from this album.

Interviews
Their interviews definitely have interested me, as they aren't a typical kpop group that we generally talk about, and they shed some light on the industry outside of pop music. I found it interesting that they've said that rock music is not unpopular in Korea, as any people assume. Instead, they say that it just seems unpopular compared to the global success of kpop, which I found interesting.

They definitely have a lot of good songs (in my opinion of course), and they're pretty unique, being a rock band that's more well known in the Korean industry. I hope some of you guys give them a chance, and maybe some will enjoy their music. That's all I have, so bye for now!

I know them, and yes, I do love them. I had been checking out their youtube channel recently, and it's months since their last comeback. I don't think they are actual idols, so maybe their schedule for releases is different. Lost Child is among one of my favourite songs from them.

...and I have a set of Bursters badges.

They're actually on hiatus right now unfortunately, I'm really hoping they'll be back at some point
