Is 15 and 18 a bad age gap (1 Viewer)

Hey guys. So I wanted to know is 15 years old and 18 years old a bad age gap?
Because on one hand it's only 3 years but the 18 year old is technically not a senior because they only have enough credits to be a freshman. They've told me this is because of a system error on the school's end, but i doubt the validity of this. Additionally, they make me uncomfortable som3times and I don't want to tell them because I don't know how they'll react and I don't want anything to happen to me but I also don't wanna keep going on with this. I'm still 15 but they'll be 19 by June.

At the end of the day if they make you uncomfortable and you are unsure of the validity of what they says, regardless of the age gap, I would say RUN.

The age gap is highly questionable to begin with and why would someone so old be looking at someone so young - makes you wonder why nobody their own age wants them. It is not okay. You are a minor and they are not, they should know better. Please seek support to help protect yourself.

If they make you uncomfortable I wouldn't even bother considering the age gap and just focus on if whatever about them makes you uncomfortable are valid concerns to have that is enough to distance yourself from them in order to protect yourself. All you can really do is be as nice as possible in rejecting them while also being clear and if they take it badly then you definitely know you should avoid them.

In your situation the age gap doesn't matter that much. Trust your gut feeling. If you don't feel comfortable, don't do it! If that person even asks you for a date, say that you don't feel ready yet because you're too young. They had to accept that.

Maybe you shouldnt even stay friends if you feel uncomfortable. If you need to interact with that person, stay friendly but don't give them a reason to think that you're more interested. Safety first!

as long as they don't take advantage of the fact that you're still a minor and they don't make you uncomfortable, I think it's fine.
I'm not always the one to share my opinion on this bc I personally think high school relationships are pointless as most never work out past senior year but I do personally know some married couples who were high school sweethearts who have been wed for 25+ years, so it really just depends

it absolutely is. even though 3 years isn't much, a 15 and a 19 year old are at different stages of life and there is no reason a 19 y/o should make any minor feel like you described which just makes the situation worse. stay safe.

mission failed successfully? didn't exactly go about it nicely but she definitely has the hint that I'm done with her. unfortunately that has led to her spreading blatant lies about me and constantly beefing with me which is NOT epic but it's okay i kind of deserved this. this wouldn't have happened if i did a lot of things differently

You didn't fail, you just couldn't win that mission. How dare you rejecting a queen!

She's the loser in that game. You could confront her but that's probably exactly what she wants (you'd focus on her again). Best thing you can do is ... absolutely nothing. Don't play a role in her drama-ma-ma-ma and she will stop bothering you at some point. It's possible that you'll meet a few of those toxic women in your life. But it's always the same type of mission. Tactical retreat is the way to go.
