I’m pretty sure its both depending on who you ask, in culinary circles it would be a veggie and in botanical circles it would be a fruit. It’s just special like that

I'm Team Veggie, bc it's grown in a garden. Besides, if it was a fruit, wouldn't ketchup and tomato sauce be smoothies?

What are y'all's takes on this?

I’m back again for like the 4th or 5th time because I’m confused by this. Where are strawberries, blueberries, and every berry basically grown? I get that apples, pears, and fruits on trees are grown in an orchard but I can’t think of another word for berry specific fruits

Right but the bushes are planted in a garden. The same comparison for tomatoes would be saying they grown on a stem, not in a garden
