i really do try to work hard at any job i have, just because I believe if you are going to be paid for doing something you should do it well for sure
it's not always going to happen because sometimes i'm really really tired and i just do what i have to do, not much more

it depends. if it's something i put lots of effort in then sure it does but if it's something that i did only because i had to and only so that i can get it over with as soon as i can then i don't really care.

Not really, if I felt my work is good enough I'd charge for it and the payment alone would motivate me anyway

Im Not sure... I'm somewhat self motivated to a degree, I work very well under pressure though but I've always just done things out of survival or just because.
So I guess maybe extreme circumstances but those are a rarity for me now a days.
