for me it's definitely kyuhyun's cover of energetic on king of masked singer:

i love the original song, but kyuhyun's rendition of it just makes me... feel things? like, he really took a dance-pop song and made it emotional while still making you wanna dance. also, i like how his version highlights vocals instead of performance like the original.

i feel that there was a similar thread like this some week ago. ok is was more about underrated kpop covers and was not confined to kpop songs only but still.
i will quote what i posted there:

Note: ok, this rose song is not as annoying as BP songs tend to be but the rock version sounds better in my opinion.
