For me it's my grandma. I know how bad that sounds, considering how much people tend to like their grandparents, but ever since she went on her intense anti LGBT rant I haven't felt the same about her. She also just always thinks she's right and everyone else is wrong which drives me mad. She did try to make amends but to me it's too little too late, I can't really easily change however many years of nervousness and lowkey self hatred I had as a result of her words. But ofc she's my grandma so I have to talk to her often and visit her when possible.

Yeah my aunt and grandmother are hard christians and are not too LGBT friendly. Don’t hate them, just can’t stand that mindset.

idk why i’m friends with her but she literally refused to call me by my preferred name and always makes homophobic remarks and it makes me so uncomfortable. she’s also really controlling and manipulative and she belittles me for everything i do. i cant just unfriend her because ive known her for over 10 years and my parents are close with her parents so i HAVE to interact with her and she alwayssss texts me when i do NAWT want to talk to her but i am a nice person and i treat her with respect

There's a guy at work that will lilterally in one conversation talk about hating LGBTect, and in the very next talk about how he doesn't understand bigotry. I persoally find someone who's a straight bigot less offensive. I can't stand when I end up working with him...
