One time when I was in the 8th grade me and my friend as well as her boyfriend were in the back of class just minding our business. This kid who I'll call Daniel grabbed the edge of the table we were sitting at and started aggressively humping it while making loud erotic noises. He did go away but iirc only after the friend sitting with us yelled at him to stop and leave. I just remembered this because I was digging through my fucked up middle school memories and this feels way more wrong when I look back but idk if I'm overreacting...

I'm sorry that happened to you. Also such a small world that basically the same thing happened to us while we separately lived through middle school and now just know each other on a forum (not to imply sexual harassment in school and similar establishments is crazily UNcommon just saying)

I'd call it Sexual harassment too, this boy this year actually used to follow me and my ex gf around , blowing kisses at us, and humping the air, while saying he "wanted" us.
Honestly though this kind of stuff happened to me everyday since kids are immature even after middle school people ik still do this, in high school to this day.

Sounds like a silly joke to me presuming he left it at that.

Kids that age like to push boundaries and get attention.

This sounds more like actual harassment since it's directly aimed at individuals.

I remember when i was in 6th grade an 8th grader would walk up behind me and grab my ass, he would also lick me... it was so gross... so yea i agree with ya...
