Is your family story dramatic? (1 Viewer)

Like relating to how your parents met and stuff like that. Mine was. It included broken long term friendships, desperate attempts to separate them (like shipping one to another country type attempt), 2 sides of the family hating each other (lots of different hatreds between different members), and secret biological dads that were supposed to be a secret until 18, which didn’t happen. Yeah. Fun story to gradually find out from different people.

not particularly dramatic, but a story that sticks out to me that is very telling of how things turned out was one time my mom told me when her and my dad first got together they were at a bar? party? either, and he was so drunk that he fell into the trash can and my moms best friend look at her and was like "thats the man you want?" and my mom was like "yep"

and then another for their wedding, something about crawling through windows and same best friend telling my mom "look, its not to late to run away now we can just go" LIKE?!

well, i'm literally the product of a one-night stand (almost), if you consider that dramatic! It's a freakin' miracle that I know my mom cauz I spent the bulk of my childhood with my dad and his beautiful wife, who happens to be my half-sis mom! So yeah, all in all, no drama but an happy outcome ig. I've socialized with everyone across all 3 fams, so i've got a million cousins and a gazillion aunts and uncles! lol Xmas has been very good to me over the years! lmaoo

well, i'm literally the product of a one-night stand (almost), if you consider that dramatic! It's a freakin' miracle that I know my mom cauz I spent the bulk of my childhood with my dad and his beautiful wife, who happens to be my half-sis mom! So yeah, all in all, no drama but an happy outcome ig. For me it’s also fun that 9 months before I was born I’m pretty sure my mom was still married to my half sisters dad I’m not 100% certain at this point when their divorce was finalized because I forget those details after all this time. But I do know for sure at that point she and my dad weren’t married yet.

Wow! mind blowing! Well, thankfully, in my case, my mom vividly remembers all 6 days she spent with my old man! LOLLLL It's pretty straight forward ig
