Where has the time gone????
How’s the year been treating you?

2023 has been the worst year for me. It’s tested me for sure. A lot of pain. I’m also broke from Indian wedding (family guest) dress shopping, the Europe trip, and certain bills.

We are going into autumn tho. My favorite season and the season filled with endless holidays. My cousin who got married is moving up here. I’ll have a friend to go to navrati with.
Hopefully, I come across my future paw child. Wherever it may be <3​

I've had worse years than this, like 2022 when my aunt died and 1998 when we moved up here to Ohio from NC (well, the move itself wasn't too bad except for the three feet of snow that welcomed us lol but for the first half of seventh grade, all my teachers sucked and I just had a bad year overall)

personally while keeping track i don't measure years based on the calendar, i measure them based on the school year. so by that standard i'm just about halfway through. it's the shitty part of the year with exams in my face but good shit has happened to me (scoring well in last session's examinations, spending time with family and friends, etc etc)

but yeah there's some things to look forward to such as going to kolkata for durga puja this year, i'll experience a real proper bengali pujo this year after so long and i'm looking forward to it!
