What are you all doing this weekend?

I have a wedding and reception to go to in some hours. People I don't want to see asking me why I'm still not married
Being a desi in her 20s is difficult x.x

But luckily I'll reunite with one of my best friends. Tomorrow there's a prayer thingamabob that im definitely not going to x.x
I anticipate all the "ohmygod Nina skipped the pooja. She's so American and uncultured", from the aunty gang.

oh, and i have to study for my last exam of the term. it was supposed to be today, but it was postponed to Monday bc school was called off (rained unusually heavily yesterday and today, roads were waterlogged)

Now that Covid restrictions have almost disappeared everyone is setting their wedding dates. So many wedding. I’ve got 6 to attend next year. One is a first cousin so that’s the only major one I gotta prepare for. She’s making all the cousins do a dance too x.x
