It’s really hard to find the flag of Rhode Island (1 Viewer)

Specifically the correct version Rhode Island has the requirements for their flag stated in law, but no one actually follows them, including their own government sometimes. The two places that get ignored are dimensions and fringe. The Rhode Island flag is actually more like a square than a usual flag. The government says it should be 5’6 in width, and 4’10 in height. Below I’ll post a Rhode Island flag with wrong dimensions, and an image of what the size should be like. It’s especially ignored for outdoor flags in favor of more traditional dimensions. The other area is fringe. The flag is theoretically always supposed to have yellow fringe on the edges. It usually doesn’t, other than ceremonies. But because of these two specifications, it’s not actually easy to see a “real” Rhode Island flag in the wild.

and Ohio doesn't even really have a flag, iirc. or ig we do, it's just not the usual flag shape. Interesting fact!
