I'm extremely tired of reporters coming after specifically female idols for their weight.

On that note I personally hate hate those videos tracking the weight journey of idols.

For me personally, it'd be very upsetting to see my body being tracked and weighed and made assumptions about all the time. Yeah sure it's some part of being an idol but that doesn't mean we should tolerate it happening to anyone. Just leave Jennie and everyone the hell alone

I know that I'm not going to be able to fix anything by making this thread, but it really makes me mad to see that these are still the kind of trash that people write for clicks, and they get away with it.

I at least somewhat understand when they talk about people when they actually lose or gain substantial weight, cause the industry is essentially built on looks. We have visuals as a role for Pete's sake, but what I will never understand is when they talk about gaining weight when there is almost no difference from what they looked like previously, or if there is, it's so minimal that 1 in 1000 people might see it...

Thing is idols also have to take pictures in a way where none of their "fat" is shown. And fat is everywhere on our bodies. I'm skinny af and I'd still show some fat on pictures easily... It's just a load of bullshit for drama
