I am loving this comeback and album from IU!!


The message behind the MV for 'Lilac' is fantastic.
As she enters the first train, it symbolises entering your early 20's and the confusion as you struggle to adjust to this new setting of being an adult. Then your mid 20's are spent partying with your friends, as you begin to feel comfortable with being an adult. Then your late 20's are when you've now grown up and fought through everything that your 20's have thrown your way.
And finally, as she departs that train (your 20's), she's about to enter the next train and the journey that'll it take her on (your 30's).

This message hits me hard, because I can relate to it! My 20's were spent trying to adjust to 'adulthood' whilst trying to have fun, but also struggling with the hardships that come your way, as you try and adjust to being 'grown up'. And now I am in my 30's, it feels as though I am finally settled in life and on an entirely new journey.
