I know I've been more quiet than normal lately. Sasha, my dog is dieing and its really throwing me into a very deep depression. She has a large mass in her stomach and a bunch on her pancreas. I noticed something was wrong a few weeks ago when she suddenly was barely eating. Unfortunately and fortunately shes going very slowly. Its really hard to watch. I can get her to eat alittle but not much. I've spent 3k the last two months and just can't spend more without being in a really bad spot financially.

Losing a furry family member is one of the biggest pains in the world.

I'm really sorry, I went through something similar a few years ago when my cat was seemingly healthy one day and stopped eating the next and I emptied my bank account trying to save her only to be left with no answers. The one good thing that came out of it is that I can look back and say I did everything I could in her final moments, I think that's the most important thing - don't leave any regrets and try to remember the good times, I'm sure she had plenty if you feel this way about her.

I am so sorry to hear about what is happening to your dog and what you are going through. I know it was difficult for me when I had to have both my senior cats put down a few years ago due to medical issues. Both one year apart from each other. I know vet bills can be ridiculously expensive. I feel for you as I know this sort of thing isn't easy to go through.

It's hard to lose them. That's why I don't have a dog anymore.

Thanks everyone for the support. I didnt think this would be so hard until it started happening. The hardest is I've woken up and come home to Sasha for almost 10 years and even the thought of her not being there feels me with such emptiness I can't even process it.
