And it seems that although they are popular on KPS, Dreamcatcher are not many people's favourite group.

I have noticed that in polls and chats in general, they are hardly mentioned as a group people love and a group that people hate.

I personally think it is because they are not that K-popish and more in the lines of something a bit different even though it's still kpop.
This is a kpop forum after all and people may not admit it but Dreamcatcher doesn't align with people's tastes in what they have for kpop.

I have noticed that there are quite a few BG stans who have said that Dreamcatcher are the only GG that they like or at least one of them because they are different to the other GG's.

So, what I think is that Dreamcatcher are a group that are not hated by any means but they are also not on many people's favourites.

Where do Dreamcatcher stand for you?

I really enjoy some of their releases but overall I'm not a big fan of their music. The girls are all incredible though and I have nothing but respect for them. I've mentioned this a lot of times but I love rock music but Dreamcatcher's style of rock isn't really my thing, with the exception of a few rock releases.

I love their title tracks but I'm not that interested in b-sides or checking news about them.
I don't feel really invested in the group like I do with my "bias" groups.
I'm not jumping up and down cuz they have a comeback, I'm just like "ok, I'll look forward to it".

They used to be the only gg I really loved but I didn't get quite to Stan level first because no matter how hard I tried I couldn't tell the members apart (I have face blindness so it can be hard) so it was hard to form that level of emotional connection, and then their music has gone less the direction I love so I fell out of love with them.

They are a group that I stan but more casually than some groups because though I like them all, I don’t have a strong emotional connection with them like some of my others faves.

I stan them for :
1. their unique rock sound
2. Their dark universe/theirs talents
