For those who don’t know, I like to make a cookie platter of Christmas cookies from around the world every Christmas This year I’m making a peanut cookie similar to peanut brittle (from Ghana), a shortbread cookie made from sesame seeds from Morocco, a fried and syruped South African Malay fusion cookie called Cape Malay Koeksisters, a Persian shortbread cookie with pistachios, and an Austrian sandwich cookie with raspberry jam. They’re all new, I can’t wait to try them
