I recently came across this video. The video cites many lyric videos from Jaeguchi that are being claimed by media companies, TheChopraWell and Viewster. These companies were fraudulently claiming the copyrights for many BTS lyric videos. The video also shows email receipts from popular lyric channel ZatyFarhani showing Jaeguchi inviting Zaty to join their network in order to monetize videos. This suggests Jaeguchi is somehow involved with TheChopraWell and Viewster. It is well known that YouTube's content ID system is very broken and there are loopholes media companies can use to abuse it.
The exact method in which TheChopraWell and Viewster are doing this is unknown as the story is still developing. But one possibility is that as media companies, they bought licenses for many songs. Much like how movie production companies can buy licenses for songs use them in their movies and claim copyrights are movie clips with those songs. Except in this case, the movies are lyrics videos. The media company can claim to have ownership of the visual portion of lyric videos are their own content and combined with the licenses they bought, can have full ownership of lyric video copyright claims as far as youtube is concerned.
The possible lyric channels that may be part of this network is also unknown. In the video, the person says millions are being made of this, which I think is extremely unlikely since he just took a particularly active BTS week on Jaeguchi's channel and extended it to year. But it's possible that 100,000s can be made off this network, so it's still a large operation.
