In my head canon, based on a video i watched n which i mostly believe, "the 8 members n their parents (emphasis mine) tell Rachel she has a choice, stop her fashion company (or share some income from it) or leave girls forever." However, only four of the members initially agreed to this, 4 members didnt want to hv it come to this. But then 1 member changed their mind and they made Rachel choose.

The rest is history/continued in book 3 "Alone"/"Solo". Anticipate Bright.
