His treatment of Carpenter esp. was the talk of Buffy/Angel message boards back in the day, though we never got this much clarification before. I'm glad that the former cast members are speaking out, whether they say a lot or just a little bit.

Loved her so much in a bigger n better role on Angel, but this is so freaking awful to hear tat hapened to her.

She's freaking awesome for speaking out her truth (even tho a few hrs ago i wasnt fully ready to hear it, until i went to the reddit thread n from there knew all the stories tat were bubbling under the surface, for yrs.)

Im disheartened tat Charisma (n maybe others) went through all tat abuse without any recourse then. She (or any one for tat matter) shdnt hv been abused or treated tat way.

Joss Whedon shd be forever go away from television n movies from now on. (Even tho I loved Buffy, Angel n Firefly so much but he shd still be gone forever n just stay away for good.) Its complicated n im still considering my other takes on everything else.

His beef with Charisma getting pregnant has been known for years. That's why he wrote her out of the show. Also he pretty much assaulted James Marsters because he was getting too popular.

But everything else coming out now is disturbing.
