Q: Can you believe TWICE is in its 10th year?



JEONGYEON: It's strange, right? I think so too. After we recently renewed our contracts, one of the members said, "How many more albums can we release as TWICE in the future?" We can't be active as TWICE forever. Of course, it would be nice if we could, but there will come a time when we each have to walk our own paths. We discussed this right before preparing for an album, so our mindset was different. It's not a given that we can prepare an album together like now. Ah, talking about it makes me sad again.



Just a reminder to really appreciate each comeback moving forward. I always joke Twice are grandmas now but it's only going to get harder and harder for the girls to record an album.

At least we already had 10 beautiful years with them (and hopefully a lot more!)
I also feel like they're a group who will still do comebacks every once in a while

At this point, I have completely come to peace with that. Before news about their contract renewal was released, I was kind of worried but honestly, I would've preferred their happiness even then. They can stay as long as they want to but I'm completely fine with them leaving too.

Look at Blackpink! Them leaving has done wonders for them and they're able to express themselves more freely. I only hope the same for Twice when they decide to leave the company (and that doesn't mean they'd let the group disband for sure!)

Very true, BP is doing splendid ly with their freedom. I honestly only see tzuyu leaving JYP so she can go home to Taiwan and act/sing there. I could see the j_ squad doing more in Japan but staying with JYP.

I don't even make predictions anymore. Blackpink did a lot more than I even thought they would when their contracts expire and with a group so big, it would be so difficukt to tell lol
