Just got back from an 11-hour power outage (1 Viewer)

lovely from 9 am to 8:30pm (now) my house hasnt had any power whatsoever and neither have like 8 other blocks. cue that taylor swift song that goes "i wouldn't wanna be anybody else.."

so lucky luckily i was at school for like 4 hours so i didnt see most of it, but it was still really annoying

you think that's bad, try 14 hours. When I was living at the home for the blind, we had the power go out in the whole building at like 3:30 in the morning. Apparently, some asshat had crashed into the dry cleaner's across the street and knocked down a power line in the process. The building had an elevator, too, and there was one tenant who was wheelchair bound. She was literally trapped on the second floor, where she lived.

well I consider family time to be very productive...
sometimes with our busy schedules and being glued to the electronics some down time is good for families to come together
