I think it’s mandatory to some level in most US states at varying age levels but I don’t think it helps all that much. Maybe I’m wrong and it does but it seems to be lacking in a lot of areas from my experience and form what I’ve heard about others experiences (especially sex ed, abstinence only is basically useless but in some schools, and probably even states, it’s the only allowed form of sex ed).

Oh yeah, sex ed is just one aspect of health the majority if not all the time, I just pointed it out because sex ed is one example of areas in which health may be there, but not taught as well as it should be.

I do not remember if we had sex ed at school.
All I know is that the teach we had was an absolute B***h
