Those of y'all who know me (Which is significally less than it used to be, but that's what I get for being inactive AF for months)

I adore Kai from the bottom of my heart so much that it hurts
but I'm also objective af when it comes to music, so I'll have you know I did not like Mmmh (but I adored the EP as a whole)
Peaches though.... well....
I'll just go through each track one by one!
PEACHES - 9.2/10
I am in love! It's EXACTLY what I want from a Kai title track! it feels so dreamy and otherwordly. I'd almost say it feels like a fairy tale where Kai is a magical prince. It's so delicate and the bass hits so deep! This song feels like sex simply said. Sensual but with a deep penetrating rhythm. (Pun very much intended) This song is dripping with sex and sensuality and I absolutely adore it. This is a perfect fit for Kai! The only small complaint I have is that the chorus by the end got a SLIGHT bit too repetitive and I would have loved some more variety there.
To sum it up, perfect title track for Kai but needs a bit more variety in the chorus
VANILLA - 7.9/10
Not gonna lie, I liked the song more in the prologue film! The full version isn't quite what I expected in a negative way. The rhythmic part where he repeats vanilla.... isn't it. It just doesn't suit the song in my opinion. The plucking instrumental already adds plenty of rhythm. It's almost like... he goes too precise on them? I think I'd prefer his vocals to be more light, leasurely and flowing. And to be honest for MOST of the song his vocals ARE like that (Which is why the song still gets such a high rating) but those staccato repeating Vanilla's..... yeah I don't like them!!!
To sum it up, I find most of the song absolutely perfect, but one part (that gets repeated a few times) makes the song significantly less enjoyable for me.
DOMINO - 8/10
When the beat first came in I thought this wasn't gonna be for me.... And then he started singing..... OH MY GOD HIS LOW VOICE!!!! It's so addicting! The chorus just gets stuck in your head and it repeats and repeats and I can't stop listening to it! I honestly need to hear his low voice MORE! I love his higher vocals like nothing else, but we DESERVE to hear more of his low voice! That being said, the rest of the song I find slightly boring. I don't remember ANYTHING besides the low voice part, but then again like..... That part has IMPACT and I could listen to just that part on LOOP! Still, a song should be more than a good hook. I don't think I'd like this song any less if it was just a minute long loop of that one part.
To sum it up, the hook is perfect and addicting, but the rest of the song is utterly forgettable. Hook alone gets 10/10, song as a whole gets 8/10 because I spend it just waiting for the hook. (But like... the hook is heavenly, so can't complain TOO much)
COME IN - 10/10
My favorite song on the album. The moment I first listened to it, it caught my ear from the start. The staccato beat just..... OH MY GOD! Honestly this song feels a lot like a faster Vanilla (Without the one part I dislike lmao). I also adore the distorted vocals added to the chorus! Honestly I have nothing bad to say about this song! It has a lot of variety so there is no part where I get bored. The chorus is hypnotizing and it builds on itself so it doesn't get boring either.
To sum it up, this is the perfect song and what I imagined Vanilla would be when I heard it in the prologue.
TO BE HONEST - 7/10
While the previous songs all feel like sex songs, this feels like an innocent love song. For that it stands out in this album, but this song also lacks anything to truly grab me. When I first listened to this album (I did it while reading a book) I straight up missed this song starting and ending. No part of it truly GRABBED me. The chorus has the potential for it, I admit, but I think for that they should've let that part be more open and should've totally dropped the staccato beat for it. I know that beat has been a big theme all throughout this album, but I honestly feel like it was holding this song BACK. It worked for the verses, but it kept the chorus unnoticeable and "chained it down" I wanted to fly with it, but was kept just dancing around on the ground. Which I mean is still very enjoyable, but not quite as amazing as flying.
To sum it up, A really nice song... just a bit forgettable
BLUE - 8.3/10 (But also why is this song here????)
I like the song, but I don't like it in the context of this album. It's a weird combination, because like.... I really do like this song a lot... but I think it shouldn't be on this album. (I actually think the same for the previous song) This song is sentimental, it's a bit nostalgic, it's a bit sad. This album doesn't give me sentimental, nostalgic or sad. And I mean this song does those things REALLY well. This feels like kissing somebody goodbye. BUT THIS ALBUM AIN'T ABOUT THAT! (I'll explain a bit more about that when I talk about the album as a whole)
To sum it up, I like the song a lot but I think it shouldn't be on this album
PEACHES THE EP - 6.8/10
While I prefer Peaches over Mmmh by a MILE.... Kai's debut album worked wayy better as an Album than Peaches. I honestly think Blue and To be honest shouldn't be on this album! Blue especially! This album is sex. Pure indiluted sex and it's different varieties. Sure Domino is a more darker and more aggressive fuck; Peaches is a more seductive kind of a vibe and Vanilla and Come in are both foreplay songs - they're a bit teasing, all light touches and exploring. (I did say Come In reminds me of Vanilla a lot) And after that I do not want to be sad. I ain't here for that. The innocent love of To be honest does not fit in here either. There is 0 sex in that song. Points also get taken down for Vanilla and Come in being so similar in their vibes.
Overall this album has songs I ADORE and songs I like, but I think it could be a much more cohesive of a unit.
