It pains me to say formerly popular, and yes I know she is very active as a soloist, but she is nowhere as popular as she was with BEG. JeA is an amazing vocalist and I am glad she had her time to shine, even though she deserves more. What hurts the most is that the generation shift is super obvious.

While it's a little sad to see eventually it will happen to any group even if we couldn't imagine say BTS being forgotten there were people who wouldn't have been able to imagine Wonder Girls being forgotten but here we are and they are rarely ever talked about.

As the reality is nobody cares about who did what for kpop in the past so even if groups like S.E.S or Wonder Girls achieved great things that makes them legendary status the main point there is they achieved things while people wanna keep up with the groups that are achieving things here and now.

Which as a side effect of this the moment you stop achieving things your popularity can take a hit for no reason other than you aren't at the top any more so there are people who just aren't interested because of that
