Kpop Nostalgia, is it real? (1 Viewer)

I know how this sounds, but i'm actually not debating whether nostalgia exists or not BUT... I saw this youtuber online say that many of his fans say that his channel or him changed. He wanted to specify, NOT only the channel changed, but the people watching it too. It's not mainly the content that the people miss, but how carefree they were as kids watching these videos, and that combined brings back those feelings of longing.

I think the same about kpop fans and their generation wars. The music is not worse, cause there is always good music, u just have to find it! Imagine RIng Ding Dong , that song was trippy on first listen, but now it's like a anthem. We just miss actually being able to pass time together with our hobbies free.

I don't know about youtubers as some of them change so much, that I can understand fans missing the old content, regarldess of their own situation.

Personally I'm enjoying 4th gen a lot right now, so I'm not very concerned with pepole saying there is no good music

I love so much of the new stuff but a part of me will always love the songs I fell in love with first, more. As individuals and a society we are always relentlessly moving forward. We can't help it. We will always long for the time when we were more innocent, when we had less knowledge. Humans innately are unhappy with their current state. We are constantly running toward the future but also longing for the past. Hope this makes a little bit of sense.

True, but i also hate some songs i liked before. And i find it stupid when ppl say "this era was better musically" and i agree its their opinion, but i also think some of their opinions suck.

My friends and I have been discussing how their favourite gen is 2nd gen and I really miss 3rd gen and think that's the best - and I'm wondering if, once 4th gen is over, we may be nostalgic about it, because our love for the older generations is tied to a nostalgia for the era or the time they were out.
