Well my parents wanted me to be a doctor So I daydreamed a lot.....

Then I read a lot of fiction. And I bought a lot of books on fictitious stories.
My early teen self thought I would become an author because I wrote a lot but I never finished anything. Then when I got to my final year in high school the "realistic" goal switched to going into publishing to find and help authors.

And currently I am in the publishing field but I'm not helping up-and-coming authors become world renowned. It's more about creating books, pamphlets, visual presentations for local exhibits. And in my city, there's always something. It's not the vision I had when I finished my undergrad. I was literally on my fourth year of being a waitress and working ridiculous stupid hours to serve people drinks so when I quit and started to apply everywhere.
I literally applied everywhere.

I'm not at my final goal, but my goal has changed so much throughout the years that I'm not upset with it. I kinda just went with it.
I love my job btw. I get to work with several museums that I love. My second delulu dream was to work in a museum library. Yeah that's not a realistic or stable salary if I went that route.

I want to have a beautiful story like this too. I really admire the way people can have courage and confidence to pursue the things they love without fear of failure or "what if". Now you just need to marry San, catch a few rats as pets, and then it would be perfect
