After another wonderful year on KS, it has come time for the annual KS User and Staff Awards. Many users have stood out this year for their wit, kindness, stunning layouts, and much more. But who stood out the most? It’s time to decide! If you’re interested in participating, make sure to read the rules below before voting. Happy holidays, and happy voting! 🎄

1. You are allowed to nominate yourself.
2. You can only nominate the same user up to 3 times within the user category. There is no limit for how many times you can nominate a staff member in the staff categories.
3. The Events Team have the right to decide which users move to the voting period in the case of a tie.
4. Submissions with no usernames will not be counted.
5. You cannot nominate the previous year's winner of an award for the user categories.
6. You can nominate the previous winner of the award for the staff categories.
7. Previous winners of user categories can be nominated for other awards they didn’t win last year.
8. You can only nominate up to 5 different users for each category.
9. Once you have sent in your nominations, please confirm it by posting in this thread that you have submitted. It will not be counted otherwise.
10. Only users with more than 300 posts can submit their nominations.
11. Please don’t pressure other users to nominate you, if you’re caught doing so you will automatically be disqualified from this event.

    A user who always makes everyone laugh
    
    Aesthetic Pro
    To nominate yourself for this award, submit your username in the form and send a screenshot of one of your layouts to the whole events team via DM. You can also nominate a fellow KS user in the Google Form, who will then be informed that they’re nominated. They will then be given the opportunity to send in one of their layouts from this year.
    
    Most Dedicated User
    A user who talks about their bias 24/7.
    
    Friendliest User
    A user known for being friendly and welcoming to others.
    
    Ship Of The Year
    To be eligible you must have an official KS ship.
    
    User Of The Year
    A user who you think contributed and stood out the most.
    
    Rookie Of The Year
    A new user (users who joined October 2024 - 2025) who you believe contributed and stood out the most.
    
    OP Of The Year
    A user who you think made some of the best threads this year.
    
    Comeback Of The Year
    A user who went on at least a 5 month long hiatus, but returned and has been actively contributing to the forum.
    
    Staff Awards
    Nominations will be 30% users and 70% staff. The categories in bold text aren’t included in the nomination period as there are either fewer than 5 eligible users or exactly 5 eligible users, meaning they all automatically proceed to the voting period.

Since I just returned I don't think I'm prepared to nominate folks but I do have a question: when the voting starts do we have to vote on every category or could I just vote for things like best aesthetic? Like I know 0 about ships nowadays

Yes! I skipped the questions I don't know as much about. Only choosing five on the other categories was pretty hard!
