Sadly, I don't think Irene could ever go the solo route in music.

She's already done some acting... I may be VERY bias, but I thought she was wonderful. I think she would be quite successful doing that.

That's part of it, but I also think that Irene's talents are more appropriate with the harmony of other members... that's why she works so well in Red Velvet.

Same with Joy and Yeri. Joy could probably go the modelling route if wanted. She's got the height and DEFINITELY has the beauty.

I'm also fairly confident Momo will never go solo, she was never confident in her singing and after that one incident the little she had got shattered too

Dahyun I can totaly see go solo though, she always seems to enjoy creating music and is also one of the twice members who wrote the most songs (maybe even the most)

I can totally see Dahyun going solo as well, but I'm kinda skeptical if JYP see her potential… I feel like she is one of the members with the least solo activities

oh okay... I only saw it from the point of view if the idol herself would want to, but if you look at it from the company perspective I'm also not sure :/

I just don't see her as a solo artist. Her strengths are not her vocal talent, her strengths are what she does within the group dynamic

The duo with Seulgi works great, because Seulgi is an amazing vocal talent and Irene can use the same skills with her that she does within Red Velvet.

Don't get me wrong, if she went solo I'd stan her as hard as I do now, but it's not something I would expect to see... I think she'll go more into acting whenever her musical career fizzles out.
