Lee Hwi Jae’s agency, Cube Entertainment, has issued a statement after his signed Brave Girls CD was seen being sold online.

On March 21, Cube Entertainment stated, “Lee Hwi Jae’s manager at the time was in charge of taking care of the signed albums he received from singers in the car. He remembers that Brave Girls’ CD was also kept in the car along with the others. It is difficult to determine the circumstances in which this CD left his possession. Regardless of the reason, we apologize for not having taken proper care of the gift with the precious message. We feel apologetic toward Brave Girls and their fans. We will take better care of gifts in future to make sure this issue does not occur again.”

On March 19, a post with a photo of Brave Girls’ third mini album “High Heels,” which was released in June 2016, was uploaded in an online community. The album in the photo had a signed message dedicated to Lee Hwi Jae that read, “Hello, Lee Hwi Jae sunbaenim. We met on the ‘Vitamin’ shoot, but do you remember us? Our album this time is really great, we hope that you will listen to it.” The poster of the photo claimed that they had bought the album secondhand and wrote, “This album became a hot topic after Brave Girls became a hot topic, and no one was buying this so I just bought it.”

Who tf cares? Can you imagine the sheer amount of signed crap celebs get? It's customary for albums to be given between artists, if you think about how many come and go over the years, it's ridiculous to think that any artist is cataloging the albums they receive. The culture of shaming celebs for dumb things needs to stop.
