이 대표는 윤 대통령의 요미우리신문 인터뷰 중 ‘구상권 청구는 없을 것’이란 언급에 대해 “일본 눈치만 살폈다”며 “대통령 임기는 5년이고 5년 이후는 다른 사람이 된다. 그때 이 문제에 대한 확답을 누가 지금 할 수 있나”고 따졌다.

이어 그는 “일본의 군사대국화 평화헌법 무력화 시도까지 용인하겠다는 태도에는 아연실색했다”며 “이쯤되면 이 정권은 친일논쟁을 넘어 숭일논쟁이 벌어질 지경”이라고 비판했다.
