But it's pretty deep (and sad). She's the wife of Bang Yong Hoon, CEO of Koreana Hotel. She was found drowned in the Han River near Gayang Bridge, and her car and a seven page long suicide letter were found 2 to 3 km/1.2 to 1.8 miles.

After her body was found, the police gave it to her husband and...

One day after, he cremated her without notifying her family. Her family was enraged at this, since Bang didn't even come out to search for his wife, did not discuss her cremation before hand with them and did not hold a funeral ceremony for her. The latter point Bang claims is untrue as he says he did hold a funeral ceremony for her. Which would mean he just didn't invite Mi Ran's family.

She stated in the letter that she killed herself because of the abuse she suffered at the hands of her husband and children. Mostly caused by fights about money, and they forced her to live in their basement.

Me too. It saddens me to hear how she was treated even by her own children, whom she sacrificed so much for, and how these people could get away with it simply because they're rich. I hope justice is served someday.

Suddenly I have my doubts again in the whole Daesung and the dead man case.
I was convinced he didn't do it because of the police's statement but now that it turns out that they protect people and are corrupt as heck,
I have my doubts in the statement again
But then again, the facts are probably too old now to punish him so idk
