My family had 2 functional cars that I could use to get places. Now we have 0. How things change

We are, the first at died after my scary journey back home a little bit ago, and this car just died at home overnight, so it’s not like it was when we were away or when someone was driving it luckily.

One needs a new battery, one needs a new bearing. The problem with the second is that to get to the bearing a lot of stuff needs to be moved, and some of it is so old that it would need to be replaced if moved and that can get expensive so it may be not worth it and be worth getting a new car instead.
