Yup, it sucks because I've had a relationship which happened due to it and it just ended.. horribly ahah. The good thing about it is that you don't fall for the wrong people since the infatuation fades before you can make any mistakes most of the time

Same. I can't remember the last time I had a crush on anyone because I was a kid (like 8yrs old) and it was feelings towards a family friend. I have had crushes on book characters though, if that counts. Some times I feel like I'm in a romantic mood and I wish I had a crush but as soon as a guy shows any interest in me, I just turn stone cold and ignore him. Which is weird because my cousin said that usually when a guy starts showing interest, you also start feeling something towards them. But people have confessed to me and I just felt awkward. There was this guy a few months ago that I thought I was interested in but then he started showing interest in me (and even asked me out) and I automatically got over him. But that wasn't really a crush. I just thought he was super cute. I don't know why I'm like this. I like to think my brain has her priorities straight so she's just trying to get education out of the way first before worrying about any of that stuff.
