I saw a post that, allegedly, he was arguing with staff beforehand, because he wanted to go into the pool, and they thought he wasn't sober enough. So there's a theory that he may have been trying to jump into the pool from his balcony and badly misjudged. Which is something that oddly happens quite a lot with tourists.
