I felt it was ok but unnecessary, exceptttttttt it's an opportunity for AAPI(Asia American Pacific islanders) acting in major movie which Aloha flubbed its way into a kerfuffle(not sure if a different actor woulda made a difference but it's undeniable they didn't try, hey ncis hawaii n hawaii five-0 found hawaiian actors to cast n now rescue hi-surf even has 3 count em 3 aapi in main cast)

PS Also isn't Stitch a proto-Grogu(baby Yoda) or maybe he wasn't in the animation version?

PPS aren't there enough Disney remakes of beloved animation into live action movies?(is it even live action if its a hybrid of live and animated? Wasn't lion king n mustapha hybrid realistic animated?) How much money does Disney need? I guess we'll never know as long as they remake beloved animation movies 🎬🎞🎥📽🤷
