Little Mix's "The Search" is absolutely terrible (2 Viewers)

Now I'm not talking about the show itself, I think it's great they are searching for an opening act like that.

The problem is the groups themselves.
Absolutely terrible.

There were only 4, including Little Mix themselves performing "Sweet Melody" that were actually good.






And then even with those 3 groups, YChange and Jasper Blue had absolutely terrible song choices (which seemed to be the concept for all the performances)
Jasper Blue was sadly already eliminated, which is a shame tbh.

Don't even get me started on the other groups.
Egoists trying to out-sing one another.
Sure, most of them have great voices but they just don't work together and it's obvious they don't actually want to be in a group and rather perform solo.
There's literally 0 chemistry between anyone in the other groups.

If Jasper Blue can't come back as a wildcard I definitely hope YChange or Nostalia can win this thing.

I literally just finished watching last night's episode and agree that a few of the performances were rough but I actually like most of the groups. I think my top three would be Nostalia, YCHANGE & Melladaze. I was so disappointed that Since September wasn't in the bottom two because they clearly had the weakest performance and that Harry dude is so fucking annoying that he made me dislike the whole group!

I agree with you about the song choices too plus the camera work was really frustrating! They kept cutting to the girls' reactions at the WORST times!

Here's my thoughts on all six groups:

1) Since September - It's really frustrating because I like the other three and I think that Patrick kid is super talented but that Harry dude (I think that's his name - blonde hair, beard, fake tan) is so fucking irritating I wanted to fast forward the whole entire performance! During their interview everyone else was just talking and acting like normal human beings but whenever someone else was talking he would just be staring into the camera like bloody Zoolander! I wanted to punch him I swear to God!

2) Nostalia - I really liked them! I was a little worried when LM first put them together because I didn't think they looked right together but after the professional styling, they all looked fantastic. I'm a little worried about the fifth member coming back next week though because they did such an amazing job as a 4 piece I don't want anything to change. I remember liking the other girl though so hopefully they get even better with her there next Saturday!

3) New Priority - I really like all of them and I think they've got a lot of potential but they just look really awkward on stage together. In fairness, watching early 1D performances from the X Factor can be a little rough too! I think they just need to perform more and get used to working as a team because they definitely have something special about them.

4) Jasper Blue - I didn't really like them as much as you did, I though apart from Since September, they were probably the weakest out of the six. I though the dance moves were super cheesy and not well executed plus their vocals went a little dodgy in some places. It's a shame because I really liked the idea of a mixed group and all of the members seem like really nice people but something about it just didn't really click for me. I think their voices sounded better on their save me song but I still preferred Melladaze in the end.

5) YCHANGE - Like Nostalia, I didn't really see it working when the girls originally put them together just because they're all so different but in the end I think that's what made it so good. I agree with you that even though they did a great job their was something about the song that didn't really work. to be honest, think it was because the backing track was super sparse, in a way that's a good thing because it made it easier to hear their voices but it also made the sound of the show seem unfinished and unprofessional which was a real shame.

6) Melladaze - I was really annoyed that the girls marked them so low! I thought vocally they were just as good as New Priority but their choreo was a million times harder than the boys'. I thought they had really great stage presence and they all felt super natural with each other which isn't true for most of the other groups. I was really impressed with their save me performance too! It seemed so well rehearsed and you could tell that they'd all worked their arses off. I was shocked that the girls were so harsh on them because I can never remember them doing choreo that was anywhere near that difficult when they were on the X Factor. They had the same sound issue as YCHANGE with the lazy backing track that didn't really help them out at all but I thought their vocals actually sounded amazing although I think they need to blend together a bit more on their harmonies.

1) I really don't know why they don't have a drummer, as a band there's no way around having a drummer, whenever they sang together it sounded really terrible to me, wonder what they are gonna do next time but I don't have big hopes

2) Oh I actually didnt know there's a 5th one. The 4 did amazing, wonder how they are gonna sound like as 5 then

3) The only one that really stood out to me was the 3rd singer from the beginning, the tracksuit rapper felt kind of out of place to me idk

4) I do agree that some vocal parts, especially from the 2 females sounded kinda scuffed, but I thought it might've just been nerves, they have quite raspy vocals so unless u have amazing control its kinda hard to sound consistently good i think. I really loved the 2 guys vocals and whenever all of them sang together/harmonies were really really nice to me

5) I really didn't think they'd fit together but they did really great, really just a great group already

6) I actually thought they were the 2nd worst after Since September. Their harmonies felt so off and whenever they would swap to solo singing from harmonies and such it didnt sound good at all, they all have so distinct voices, which is good, but at the same time they just don't fit together at all, the dance break was cute but it didnt really elevate what their vocals couldnt do for me
