APA did not even look as bad as people made it out to be, but I think Yeon and Crownie worked together on some cloaking device and it worked really well, they were both invsible all game!

C9 looked solid, like usually at worlds

Super proud on G2 yeah! They did super well and give me hope at least one western team can make it to the round of 8

How did NRG get first rank in NA? I looked at the names and thought the teams sounds really weak based on what I remember from the players, but I did not expect them to be this bad honstely..

KT vs BLG was really fun! I hope to see more games like this

its hard to understand why they design champs like this, but its a problem for a long time... why do teams not bann him if he is so powerful?

Tbf Weibo is a really bad matchup for NRG, the latter is really trying to win with good synergy etc but can get exposed by very mechanically skilled players, and Weibo is all about outplaying with your superior mechanics lmao.

I still need to see how C9 will do against stronger teams, MAD was so shit worse than GAM imo. They really didn't fare well against the top teams at MSI.

APA made some crucial mistakes but i agree that Yeon was even worse.

Next round should be exciting a lot of common matchups that were really good in the past...

Idk they tried to promote the champ a lot with the lil nas x collab but now its a problem cz the champ is overtuned. Ksante was nerfed a lot for worlds but teams still make the champ work. It can do everything its so hard to play against

I'm a bit sad though, we have so many same region matches in the second round, I like it better when different regions play against each other!

I'm still a bit confused about top lane, why do so many players opt to pick Renekton? (and some goes for Aatrox, to a lesser extent though), they all seem really weak.. is the champion really good right now?

briefly, renek is a jack of all trades, the champ will go even or win against almost every champion, can one shot a squishie if they don't respect him, tank relatively well without too much investments thanks to its ult, and has a point and click stun that is really useful against ADC. Unfortunately like the saying the champ is master of none of those traits and when behind the champ becomes really weak. It's imo not that good but if you're not confident against your opponent (players like Bin, Zeus can be frightening) it is an easy way to go even (tho some still manages to die).

Aatrox is the mechanically skilled version of Renek, though has the reset element and does way more AOE damage so better in teamfight. It tanks way less tho, and requires very very good mechanics so not everyone can pick him. Also hate playing against CC heavy comps so can't be blind picked. Renek is probably the best blind pick top with jax right now.

the way to know if someone is losing lane is CS advantage and Experience (Level). If it's even it's good. If you have 15 cs lead and a level lead you are winning. Of course jungle presence can make an impact.
