My mom’s going to celebrate the birthday of her friends ex husband (presumably, it’s a bit weird). Originally my sister was going to go but decided not to in the end. So my mom tried to rope my dad into going, and when that failed, tried convincing my sister to change her mind. She didn’t even bother with me, which I approve of because eww human interaction She did invite me to get ice cream before she left though

I'd rather have ice cream than the awkwardness of being at a birthday party of someone I don't or barely know.
