Lunar month is redundant (3 Viewers)

From a standpoint of etymology. Lunar comes from French lunarire, meaning of the moon. Month comes from an old word for moon. So both words derive from the same word in terms of meaning, but through different languages. It’s not super unusual, but it is still interesting

Chai (and similar words like cha) are extremely common ways to say tea in different languages. The first time I heard chai tea I was confused because in Russian tea is chai, so I was confused why someone would put that before another word for tea I don’t think the phrase comes from Russian, directly or indirectly, but it still sounded redundant
