Haechan & Jongho - I really like both of their voices and think they would suit each other well.
Chenle & Chan - The group need a leader aka Chan and Chenle is just an overall really solid and stable vocalist (I will not forgive you for putting him in the sub-vocal category)
Mark & Han - Both are all-rounders and have good personalities
Jaemin & Felix - I feel like Jaemin would serve well as a good center and Felix will add a much needed lower register to the groups sound.

I consider him still a main vocal. The reason I think he isn't getting lines is bcs well... His visuals aren't worthy of a push and his vocal tone isn't unique enough compared to Haechan to get the bridges etc...

Chenle is just a VERY solid vocalist in every way. He is incredibly stable and when needed is able to cover the other members parts flawlessly. I really wish he got to shine more...

Haechan was considered sub vocals for 127 for ages.. it his popularity what pushed him to being a main vocal sm cares more about popularity than anything
chenle fan base is pretty small due to him only being pushed as jisung side piece.... or the rich china boy..
when he used to pushed as a cutie...
sm hasnt pushed chenle in ages.. they jumped ship to renjun as he more popular western wise

I mean.... I think it's more of a mix in china. They DO like pretty boys, but being pretty isn't as much of a head start in china as it is in Korea and you can make it without as much visuals, but talent instead WAYY easier than in Korea.
