I've been loving being able to watch all the stuff on our big screen. Getting her into k-pop has also been fun! She REALLY likes SVT. SHE LOVES MINGYU. Like when she discovered him and learned about him a big, she really said, "If only I was 30 years younger" and I was FLOORED. She even said if they were to ever come close to where we live we may go! That's considering if I am able to better myself and she's able to get her health better aswell as my health. She doesn't understand the skinship and closeness the guys have in groups. She isn't judgmental and supports LGBT she just isn't used to that kind of acts. She also really like S.coups and I say, "NO MOM, you have Mingyu! S.coups is mine!" and she's like "nu uh" anyways. I'm really glad she's getting into the k-pop culture and stuff too. In Ateez she always refers to San, Wooyoung and Yeosang as "the trio" or calls Yeosang "the third". She was a little taken aback when she discovered Woosan because they are so open to it, and she thinks it's wild that it's allowed. But she calls Yeosang pretty which he is! I'm slowly coming back as I juggle spending time with my mom, my bestie and online. I look forward to my k-pop adventures with my mom. I have been able to kinda stay up to date on things since me and my mom watch stuff on youtube.

that raises an interesting question - obviously since you didn't say anything to her that such behaviour is fine
the question is then if the rolls were reversed and your dad said the same about a female idol say Rosé who is also 26 same as mingyu - would you not find that behaviour creepy or appropriate?

Well, I don't really have a dad though (disowned him bc of stuffs). She mentioned she dreamt about them, but it was just her being a staff and helping them stay close to their family and update their family on things. Aswell as helps direct SVT's leader to keep him levelheaded. So, she's not one of those borderline questionable moms that would actually pursue younger idols.

Today I showed her some more NCT, WayV, SVT, Ateez and a tiny bit of Stray Kids. I also introduced her to Onlyoneof. She really liked Lucas and was bummed her is no longer around. She also likes Taeyong & Jaehyun. For WayV and solo she agreed that Ten is amazing as he is one of my main biases for NCT and high on my list in general. She also got why I like Yuta. She still prefers SVT though. I seriously don't doubt that if in the future they tour close and we are physically able we'd go to a concert.​

but nevertheless do you think it would be appropriate for anybody male or female to be making such comments?
i'm not trying to have a go at your mother since i'm sure she's a lovely person but rather that that comment might be construed as creepy behaviour regardless of whether she has or has not intentions to pursue them?

Only if the idol was REALLY younger. Because you could argue that they just wish they were younger to have a better chance with someone like that. If the idol isn't really young then I don't see a problem.
