Not the same You're generalizing upward and broadening the possibilities, that's like if someone like ducks they like all other animals like possums and racoons and pugs.

This is narrowing, it's more like...if someone likes oranges they may like tangerines. So if someone likes woodland ducks, they may like long tail ducks
