At least my school administrators don't block the whole YouTube website!
I think they realize that there are so much good usage to YouTube. They block certain videos but not the entire thing!

For instance, I used YouTube a lot when studying for my ACTs and when I didn't understand a concept in math or chemistry and a lot of times, I got answers in ways I could understand it. The fact they would block the whole site doesn't really make a lot of sense to me.
