I found the Momoland trainees on Facebook in 2016, two months before "Finding Momoland" was broadcasted. I saw a clown named JooE in the pictures, I thought she was different and odd, like me. I became a Merry and began to follow an Agency called "Duble Kick Entertainment" (MLD didn't exist back then). I was a washed up Blackjack on burn-out at the time

My wreck has also been the same since Day 1. Jane <3 Cauz she reminds me of my sis a lot and she's got pipes too! Main vocalist pipes! And she's funny! <3 lol
My heart was shattered when she wasn't part of the 6 trainees voted for in "Finding Momoland"
Then, a miracle happened! She was saved by the Fan vote and added as the 7th member! I was floored that so many people liked her just like me! I voted the hell out of this fan vote, I remember. (MMLD debuted as 7 members, for those who think it was 9).

... after a debut song that I honestly liked but wasn't exactly thoroughly excited about, called Welcome to Momoland, this jewel came out and I was sold! A hard 180 turn on the Crush stuff I had been listening to for years! Fun, vibrant and positive! Nothing against Big Bang and 2NE1, I still stream 'em to this day, but Momoland was just what the Doctor ordered for me as I had just graduated from High School and was looking to make a difference in this world! I also missed Crayon Pop OT5 badly at the time :(

Then, in 2017, Duble Kick added two members. Daisy (who hadn't been voted for in the "show", or, "rigged show" as she called it) and Taeha, from another Agency.

And then they were 9..........

This gem came out and I loved it so much! I used to sing it outloud around the house and it would drive my mom nuts My College friends would come over and ask me "gurl, who dat"? Americans didn't have a clue about Kpop back then. They thought the Wonder Girls were Chinese brats from Oregon whenever they'd hear Nobody. In fact, my entire high school years, no one had the slightest clue that China and SK were in fact two different countries. The American way! Dumb but proud! lol

Then, in 2018, in January of all months! God came down from Heaven and went for a beer with a Producer named Shinsadong Tiger. He ordered him to sample a Russian bop called "Mi Mi Mi" by a group called Serebro and clone the hell out of it to make it special, Kpop special!

For 3 months in early 2018, MOMOLAND became the biggest Kpop act in the world! They were everywhere and JooE blew up with her infamous "GREAT!". They were on the Masked Singer, Variety shows, Idol Olympics, Dramas, KCON, Running Man, E-V-E-R-Y-W-H-E-R-E!

Later that year in the Fall of 2018, Duble Kick, who had oddly rebranded itself to MLD Entertainment by then, made their 1st mistake..... they had the girls follow up on their inter-galactic bop with another, well, rather similar bop. Except for a couple chords and a different choreo, the song structure was pretty much the same. Big mistake from a dumb ass Agency!

It's an Amazing song, don't get me wrong, in fact, I like it better than Bboom, but I would have sold it on Ebay and come up with another one! and on top it, the M/V for it was just plain dreadful! So here's the moving dance.......

In 2019, the sh*t hit the fan, for lack of a better term. Daisy was fired, Taeha was "let go" and the Producer Shinsadong, well, left the building after giving MOMOLAND one last bop........

And then, they were 7 again.......

By 2020, Momoland comebacks were reduced to atoms. MLD had made so many bad judgement calls and had brought so much damn negativity around the girls that the members found themselves lacking confidence and a strong will to perform on stage. So much damn Drama had taken place, pathetic!

So going forward, in order to honor their contracts expiry and drive out of town right after, they were gonna have one comeback a year. That year, an obscur Kpop Producer named "PSY" chipped in on a great song! The problem is, once again, the M/V and then entire promotional cycle was plain horrendous! A 5 year-old kid could have better color balanced this M/V for crying outloud!!

oh, and their visual Queen Yeonwoo became an Actress (apparently against her will).

...And then they were 6 !

by 2021, MLD was seriously strapped for cash! I mean, what do you do when you don't even have money to pay a Producer anymore? You pay the rights to cover another song. How lame!

So, once again, MLD screwed up the M/V. It was nice and all. Nice colors, pretty, all that jazz!
But, the designers and staff put an Iron Cross symbol on Jane (necklace) and Hyebin (purse hanging waist-level). It’s the same symbol, so both were blurred out. Long story short, the Iron Cross symbol could be perceived to have some connection to Nazis, so they decided to blur it out for this video due to the complaints. Another dumb ass management mistake!

Anyhow, the song was fine and many peeps like it.......... I just felt bad for the girls!

The year is 2022. MLD decides to fly the members to Florida to shoot an M/V collab with a Puerto Rican mama named Natti Natasha. Momoland would find theyselves promoting in South American after that cauz, let's face it, no one remembered them in South Korea. Thanks to MLD Mismanagement LTD.

The song's nice and for once, the M/V production was decent (but cheap, nonetheless, no money).

It would become their last song with MLD Mismanagement LTD. And for many at the time, their disbandment song........

Momoland members elected not to renew with MLD in 2023.
In 2024, Lee Joo-won aka JooE, made the following statement:

"we have not disbanded, chill"

Everyone went "yeah, right!"

In 2025, Inyeon Entertainment, an acting Agency but with an actual smart CEO $ annouces that MOMOLAND will return as MOMOLAND.........

On September 8 2025 at 05:30am EST, MOMOLAND returns. Their unnie and Leader Hyebin is pushing 30 now.

Long story short, the Iron Cross symbol could be perceived to have some connection to Nazis, so they decided to blur it out for this video due to the complaints.

They were totally wrong!

The Iron Cross is a German military symbol and was already instituted in 1813, long before the Nazis came. During WWII, Hitler reinstituted the Iron Cross and put the nazi swastika on it to make it 'his' symbol.

Jane's Iron Cross is the old version, so there was a lot of fuss about nothing. Even in Germany this version of the cross is legal. It's rather popular in the Metal scene because Motörhead's Lemmy always weared one.

Only the modified version with the nazi swastika is prohibited.

Sadly, 16 year old kids aren't as well versed on the topic as you are! Anyhow, the thing is, they should have known better than that! Most people around the world can't tell the difference! So why bother with it in the first place? Stupid designers!

Like that time BP Lisa had some sort of Indian God statuette behind her in the "How you like that" M/V (no disrespect to our Indian friends, I'm clueless on this). But YGE should have known better than to go there! Agencies should cease drinking Red Bull!
